Qualifications

A bachelor's degree (BSc or BEng) in Geology or Engineering, coupled with a postgraduate qualification in a related field (Meng, MSc, etc.).
Currently possess a chartered status within the Civil Engineering or Geological space.
A proven track record in design-focused Geotechnical roles.
Valid UK driving license.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage geotechnical projects from inception to completion, ensuring quality, budget, and timeline objectives are met.
Conduct geotechnical investigations, including site visits, soil and rock sampling, and laboratory testing.
Analyse geotechnical data and prepare comprehensive reports, including geotechnical engineering recommendations and design solutions.
Provide expert advice on foundation design, slope stability, earth retention systems, and other geotechnical aspects of projects.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including structural engineers, environmental scientists, and construction professionals, to deliver integrated solutions.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior geotechnical engineers and technical staff.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in geotechnical engineering.

Salary: £50,000 - £55,000
