Environmental Engineer- Glasgow

My Client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy who specialise in Hydrology, Ecology and Environmental Management, is searching for a Flood Risk Consultant to join and manage a friendly and supportive team in Glasgow.

Candidates are required to have a strong academic background in Hydrology, Engineering or Environmental Management and have experience working for a Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk Assessments and Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.

This exciting opportunity will offer you the chance to join a friendly team in Glasgow to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk, Environmental, Drainage and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for greenfield, industrial, commercial and renewable energy projects.

You will also be required to complete;

-Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications.

-Drainage Impact Assessments.

-Hydrology Chapters for EIAs.

-Flood Estimation using FEH and Winfap.

-Hydrological Assessments.

-Surface Water Management Plans and Catchment Management Plans.

-Hydraulic Modelling using Flood Modeller Pro and Tuflow.

-Drainage Strategies.

-Water Quality Assessments.

-Peat Restoration.

-GIS Mapping.
