Senior Civil Engineer- Nairn

My client, a specialist UK based Environmental Consultancy, is searching for a Senior Civil Engineer to join their Environmental Team based in Nairn.

It is essential that applicants have a strong background in Civil Engineering and have experience working within UK based Consultancy or Local Authority completing Flood Risk, Surface Water, Hydraulic Modelling, Drainage or Pipeline Projects for Private and Public Sector Clients.

Applicants are required to have technical experience specialising in Flood Risk, Drainage Strategy and Drainage and Pipeline Designs using AutoCAD or Microdrainage.

It is also beneficial for applicants to reside locally and have experience managing projects and have a keen interest in mentoring and developing teams.

As a Senior Engineer you will be required to complete varied Hydrological, Surface Water, Flood Risk, Drainage, Civil and Hydraulic Modelling Projects for Private Sector Clients, Local Authorities and Water Companies.

You will also be required to complete technical work including Flood Risk Assessments for Planning Applications, Catchment Management Plans, Hydraulic Modelling and Civil and Drainage Designs using Microdrainage.

You will also be required to manage projects, manage the existing civils team, mentor team members and attend Client Meetings to discuss project progress.
