Engineering Project Manager - Wind
Edinburgh - Hybrid Working
£60,000 DoE Introduction
Astute are exclusively partnered with a leading developer of renewable energy in the UK and EU. Our partner is currently recruiting for an Engineering Project Manager to join one of the biggest wind energy producers across the world and in the UK.
The key responsibilities of the role will be to oversee and manage the design of wind or solar farms and their related infrastructure and other technical requirements.
As such, the successful candidate will have demonstrable experience in the design and management of technical matters related to wind or solar farm development.
Roles & Responsibilities
Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for:
Oversee and manage technical projects for the development of wind farms from a Civil Engineering point of view including (Road access routes, drainage, foundations) design review.
Providing technical support to the development, contracting and construction phases.
Provide technical support to other departments in support of tendering, responding to requests for proposals and bidding operations.
Facilitate a smooth transition of projects to Construction teams to minimize delays and ensure efficient coordination and technical excellence during project handover.
Providing support where needed and including modifications that may be required during the construction phase.
Skills & Qualifications
We are looking for someone with the following:
A background in the design and delivery of wind farm developments and infrastructure projects to completion (Including full life cycle, from conception through to commissioning)
Degree qualified in Civil Engineering or similar.
Commutable to Edinburgh (~1 hour distance)
Due to the nature of the works the ability and willingness to travel for site visits is essential.
Salary & Package
What's on offer for this exciting role:
Starting salary up to £60,000 depending on experience
Performance-based bonus.
25 days holiday allowance + birthday off
