Associate Civil Engineer - Flood risk & river modeling
For over 15 years our client has been developing infrastructure projects. They are medium size consultancy with multiple offices in the South East.
They have experience in exceeding expectations across a vast array of services, including transport planning, infrastructure planning, flood risk & river modeling, civil engineering design and highways design.
As an Associate Civil Engineer you will lead the production of technical studies and designs within a particular focus on flood risk & river modeling.

The Role
Manage mid to larger sized projects
The Associate will acquire work for self and others (minimum 3 FTE) from new and existing clients
Manage and mentor junior staff
Developing competent designs
Liaising with other Associates and Team Leaders across the company on matters of resourcing
Identify and develop business opportunities
Preparation of fee proposals
Management of projects ensuring that projects are managed effectively within budgetary constraintsRequirements
Principal or Associate Civil Engineer level
Achieved or actively pursuing Chartered or Incorporated Accreditation with a related Professional body
Relevant degree in Civil Engineering
Experience of managing junior staff as part of a project team
Significant experience in managing large projects
Experience in preparing technical studies and designs within flood and riversPackage
To £70,000 annual salary
