Intermediate Energy & Carbon Engineer
Full Time / Permanent
Annual Salery: (2/3 years of experience up to £45k, 4/5 years of experience up to £60k)
Flexibly Remote Role - Ability to go and work in London or St. Edmunds
Join a growing net zero and sustainability consultancy within built environment, who has been evolving for the past 10 years and acquired a large portfolio of commercial clients such as Barclays Bank and Hilton Hotels.
Looking for an Intermediate energy and carbon engineer to join the team and provide robust sustainability services to reduce carbon and operational cost. As the company is fast growing, and planning to double their size to a turn over of 58 Million, it's a brilliant opportunity to join now and grown with the company progressing you career.

Role and Responsibilities
As an Intermediate Energy and Crabon Engineer, you will play a crucial role in delivering outstanding sustainability solutions to our clients. Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Conducting Carbon Scope 3 analysis to identify emissions and develop effective reduction strategies.
* Demonstrating a solid understanding of building services and applying this knowledge to energy-efficient designs and practices.
* Utilizing your Carbon Literacy skills to educate clients and internal teams on carbon reduction initiatives and sustainable practices.
* Applying expertise in ESOS (Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme) assessments to support clients in optimizing their energy consumption.
* Utilizing your knowledge of EPC (Energy Performance Certificates) to assess and improve building energy efficiency.
* Demonstrating proficiency in ISO50001 to assist clients in establishing and maintaining effective energy management systems.
* Leveraging your expertise in BMS (Building Management Systems) to enhance building performance and reduce environmental impact.
* Providing exceptional sustainability consultancy skills to clients, guiding them on their journey towards Net Zero and environmentally responsible practices.
Requirements
* Bachelors degree in Engineering or a related field.
* Proven experience in building services and sustainability consultancy.
* Strong expertise in Carbon Scope 3 analysis and Carbon Literacy.
* Comprehensive knowledge of UK regulations and standards, including ESOS, EPC, and ISO50001.
* Proficiency in BMS systems and their application to energy-efficient building operations.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively engage with clients and internal teams.
