Entry level Water Treatment Engineer / Remedial Plumber
Full time - Monday to Friday (08:00-17:30) with optional paid overtime available.
Due to the continued growth of the business, we are currently looking to recruit 2 new members of staff to join our Water Treatment / Water Hygiene division at one of the UK's leading Water Treatment and Environmental Services groups.
The role involves working on domestic water systems and includes pipework alterations, fault finding, tank surveys and disinfections, chemical dosing, leak repair and other remedial and preventative actions.
We have the opportunity for either someone to come in as a trainee, working to gain qualifications and experience (should have a basic understanding of domestic plumbing, hot and cold water systems, a drivers license, good interpersonal skills and ideally some plumbing experience or the desire to learn) OR a more experienced plumber / Water Hygiene engineer (would already hold plumbing qualifications and have a working knowledge of Legionella in water systems), salary is negotiable to reflect level of experience and qualifications.
You will be responsible for maintaining the Water Hygiene at a variety of residential blocks throughout London and Kent, through completing remedial works and planned preventative maintenance.

Some examples of the roles & responsibilities of the Water Hygiene Engineer / Water Treatment Technician role include, but are not limited to:
* To carry out remedial plumbing works to cold water storage tanks, closed systems and associated plant
* Cold Water Storage Tank disinfections, cleans and refurbishments
* Legionella sampling & temperature monitoring
* Chemical dosing
* De-scaling of shower heads and other outlets
* TMV servicing
* Basic plumbing
The successful candidate will:
* Be commutable to London and the South East
* Have good written and verbal communication skills
* Have basic plumbing skills
* Have good communication and interpersonal skills
* A full drivers license (highly desirable)
