Energy Manager - National Buildings
Annual Salary: £65k - £75k + Benefits

Organisational Background

We looking for a dynamic Energy Manager to oversee our extensive portfolio of buildings, including prestigious cultural institutions such as theatres, galleries, libraries and heritage sites. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing innovative energy reduction and renewable energy solutions while liaising with government bodies to manage listed heritage buildings.
This role will be responsible for driving energy and sustainability initiatives, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and implementing impactful solutions for our clients' portfolios.

Role Responsibilities
Support implementation of energy and sustainability initiatives for assigned site/region/account
Analyze energy conservation/reduction measures and identify cost reduction opportunities, reducing energy consumption and implementing renewable energy solutions.
Lead and manage a team of engineering professionals responsible for controlling building systems, monitoring energy usage, and implementing energy-saving initiatives.
Conduct on-site and remote energy and sustainability assessments for client portfolios
Develop impactful and scalable energy and carbon reduction initiatives
Utilize network of contractors/suppliers/vendors for site audits and financial calculations
Apply in-depth understanding of procedures, company policies, and business practices*
Provide full feasibility studies of costed initiatives / projects to reduce energy usage.
Extensive working knowledge of Trend BMS and control theory.
Extensive knowledge of the principle techniques and technologies which support the efficient use of energy.
Competency in current benchmark techniques and statistical analysis.Qualifications
Chartered Energy Engineer/Manager
Degree ideally in energy and sustainability, engineering or building services
Specific energy efficiency / low carbon qualifications (Desirable)
Relevant professional membership e.g. CIBSE,
Energy saving projects bidding and management experience
Renewable Energy management experience (Solar PV, Solar Thermal, Solar Hybrid, GSHP, Free Cooling Systems)
Schemes' compliance (ESOS,CRC, DEC, CHPQA)
