Are you a highly skilled and experienced Structural Engineer seeking a new challenge with a leading Civil Engineering Consultancy? If you possess a MICE qualification or are working towards it, and have a proven track record in the field of structural engineering, we want to hear from you. My client are a multi-sector consultancy, covering healthcare, industrial, retail, education, residential, hotel & leisure, listed buildings, commercial and public sector. We are looking for a Senior Structural Engineer to join their dynamic team in Birmingham.
Position Overview:
As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the consultancy's commitment to excellence in structural engineering. This role is ideal for someone who is ready to take on a leadership role and make a significant impact in a forward-thinking organization. Amazing opportunity for progression as they would be looking to appoint someone to Associate Director level after proving dedication and hard work.
Key Responsibilities:
* Leading and managing structural engineering projects from conception through to completion.
* Designing, analysing, and overseeing the construction of various structural systems, including reinforced concrete frames, structural steel, industrial buildings, multi-storey structures, and schools.
* Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project goals are met and projects are delivered on time and within budget.
* Mentoring and providing guidance to junior engineers within the team.
* Ensuring compliance with industry standards, codes, and regulations.
Qualifications and Requirements:
* MICE qualification (Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers) or an alternative relevant qualification.
* Proven experience in the design and analysis of structural systems, with a preference for experience in reinforced concrete frames and structural steel.
* Experience in industrial, multi-storey structures, and schools projects is highly preferred.
* Proficiency in structural design software and analysis tools.
* Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
* A commitment to delivering high-quality results and meeting project deadlines.
Benefits:
* Salary between £55,000 - £65,000
