My Client is an expanding, modern Civil and Structural Engineering Consultancy who have an established team of dedicated professionals, working on a diverse range of projects with values ranging from £5-100million. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in their continued success. You will be responsible for designing, analysing, and overseeing complex structural projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and sustainability. This role offers an exciting chance to work on a wide variety of projects, allowing you to expand your skills and expertise in a collaborative and supportive environment.
Lead and manage structural engineering projects from inception to completion.
Conduct structural analysis and design using industry-standard software.
Collaborate closely with architects, clients, and other engineering disciplines.
Prepare calculations, and reports, plus review engineering drawings.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, regulations, and quality standards.
Mentor and provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
Participate in project meetings and liaise with contractors and stakeholders.
Contribute to the development and improvement of engineering processes and procedures.Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering or related field. Master's degree preferred.
Preferred Chartered Engineer status (CEng) or working towards it.
Proven experience as a Senior Structural Engineer in a consultancy setting.
Proficiency in structural analysis and design software
Strong knowledge of relevant design codes and regulations.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
