Civil Engineer - Senior

Currently, the Department of Public Works (DPW) has vacancies in the Environmental Engineering Division, the Western Placer Waste Management Authority (WPWMA), and the Transportation Planning and Traffic Engineering. The Community Development Resource Agency has a vacancy in the Building Services Division.

Minimum qualifications include five years of increasingly responsible experience in engineering, including two years of supervisory responsibility, equivalent to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field, and possession of a Certificate of Registration as a Professional Engineer in an appropriate discipline as issued by the State of California. Note: Relevant, equivalent experience may be substituted for the required education as determined by the Human Resources Department. Applicants receiving their degree outside the United States must submit proof of accreditation by a recognized evaluation agency.
