Contract Senior Structural Engineer

Our client, who are a globally recognised engineering consultancy, is seeking a Contract Senior Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract. Responsibilities:

Lead and oversee structural analysis and design activities for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and client specifications.
Take a leadership role in managing and delivering complex engineering projects, coordinating with multi-disciplinary teams to achieve successful outcomes.
Act as a primary point of contact for clients, providing technical expertise and ensuring client satisfaction throughout the duration of the project.
Conduct thorough reviews of design calculations, drawings, and specifications to maintain high-quality standards and adherence to relevant codes.
Work closely with architects, fellow engineers, and other stakeholders to develop integrated and innovative structural solutions.

Qualifications

MEng or BEng in Civil Engineering (or equivalent).
Chartered Engineer status with a recognised professional institution.
Experience working with steel and concrete structures essential.
Have experience with a variety of projects including: residential, commercial, refurbishment, leisure and industrial.
Proficient in structural analysis software e.g., Tekla Tedds, Tekla Structural Designer, Revit.
Strong knowledge of British Standards and Eurocodes.
