Excellent opportunity for a Structural Engineer to join a successful specialist company in an autonomous role with a diverse range of projects, office and site based working and support in Chartership alongside a generous salary and package.

On offer is the chance to take an independent role within Structural Engineering where you will initially be the sole engineer collaborating with other teams on an interesting range of projects.

This well established company specialise in working at height and temporary works design offering a range of services including surveys, installations, inspections, chimneys, silo's and lighting. Working with a range of clients across the construction sector they have a strong order book and are now looking to recruit a permanent Structural Engineer into the business.

In this role you will be based from the Oldham office whilst also working on sites across the UK in an autonomous role. You will be supported by contracts and project managers in the business and be responsible for your own projects for which you will be responsible for interpreting data from inspections and doing technical drawings/designs and the associated calculations. Projects are all based at height and can include steelworks, silo's, temporary structures and permanent structures.

This role is suited to a Structural Engineer from a contractor with the ability to understand contractor drawings, create improvements and bridge theoretical models into working designs. The role is very practical and requires someone with a dynamic practical approach.
