Structural Design Engineer - New build Housing

Salary 50-90k DOE.

Hunter Mason's client are looking for an experienced Structural design engineer to join their growing business on a full time, self employed basis.

Responsibilities:

You will take the lead on structural engineering design and analysis for high-end residential projects, from concept through to completion.

You will be part of the management team, attending monthly management meetings including accounts, workload and project profitability.

You will be helping to make decisions regarding goals and strategies for the business.

Supporting and overseeing and mentoring the team

Working with the office manager to oversee/manage team workload

Working with the office manager on fee quotes and invoicing

Experience/Qualifications:

Civil or structural engineering degree

Production of calculations and specifications.

Technical reviews of drawings and junior members designs.

Preparation of tender and contract documents.

Attendance at coordination, design team and site meetings.
