The Public Works Department, supported by an FY 23-24 budget of $97 million, CIP of 32.2 million, and 139.5 FTE, is responsible for the operations and maintenance of the City’s infrastructure.

The City seeks an experienced public works professional with a broad background in infrastructure maintenance, utilities, and engineering services. The successful candidate will be a strategic leader with outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. This collaborative manager will display a responsive style and welcome interacting with an engaged community and working closely with elected and appointed officials. Five years of progressively responsible public works management experience and a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, public administration, or a related field are expected.
