Here at Blueprint recruitment, we have a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned Geotechnical Engineer to join a leading Design, Engineering and Project Management consultancy on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be working on a hybrid basis in one of our client's Northern offices

Key requirements:

A degree in civil engineering or geology, complemented by a postgraduate qualification in a geotechnical subject.
Ability to develop and lead geotechnical design teams
Possesses a valid UK driving license.
A willingness to travel on short assignments, both within the UK and overseas
Proven success in both technical aspects and project management within the field.
Possessing Strong communication skills
Previous experience in Design and Build environments
Chartered status as either a civil engineer or geologist
Proven experience in a fast-moving engineering consultancy environment
Experience and understanding of the engineering consultancy and design markets, including client relationships, work planning,and commercial management.
Experience with general numerical software such as GeoStudio, Repute, Wallap, etc.
Application of CDM (Construction, Design, and Management) Regulations in a design and ground investigation environment.Key responsibilities:

Mentor junior staff to help the development of team members
Liaise with a variety of stakeholders and site professionals
Investigate risks or geological hazards for the site
Make recommendations that are efficient and cost-effective
Maintain safety standards on the site
Build and maintain relationships with clients and other professionals involved in the site
