We are looking to speak with motivated Civil Engineers to join a leading, Design, Engineering and Project Delivery consultancy on a permanent basis. As the successful candidate, you will be required to operate on a hybrid basis, attending either the London, Warwick, Manchester or Motherwell office 3 times per week. This position provides a fantastic opportunity to work on a variety of projects in the Highways sector.
Our client is a reputable consultancy comprised of Building Services experts, experienced Engineers, Technicians and external suppliers that offer a range of services on new build projects, building refurbishments and within existing buildings. The company works across a range of industry sectors, including, MOD, Laboratories, Pharmaceutical, Healthcare and Life Sciences.
Key responsibilities:
Working to project budgets and resources to deliver high quality outcomes on schedule
Managing a diverse portfolio of projects delivered by our multi-disciplinary design teams.
Supporting the sector director in business development strategies, business expansion initiatives, and realising our business plan.
Coordinating project deliverables, site surveys, construction stage duties, client liaison, and tracking progress against the project brief- Managing mid-sized projects and/or design packages for large-scale initiatives
Ensuring team adherence to company quality standards and best practices
Managing resource allocation and project requirements across design disciplinesKey requirements:
Chartered or working towards Engineer
Degree in Civil Engineering or a related subject
Experience delivering highways projects
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Proven team management experience
Experience leading or contributing to bids and proposals
Flexibility and willingness to travel to client sites or other offices as required- Experience managing projects and teams on large highway projects
Past experience working with Smart Streets and Intelligent Transport Systems
Full clean UK driving license
Strong organisational skillsBenefits:
