Civil Engineer
My company are a leading engineering design consultancy in the Northwest who's highly experienced team provide expert services throughout a range of sectors. You will quickly become an integral member of the civil engineering team within a company that offers excellent career progression opportunities. With excellent prospects for future projects they are looking for a skilled Civil Engineer to join their flourishing office in the Greater Manchester area.
Requirements for a Civil Engineer
Extensive UK experience in a design consultancy environment
Working knowledge of drainage, highways and road designs
Proficiency in software such as PDS, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and MicroDrainage
Comprehensive knowledge of Section Adoption Procedures (S102, S104, S185, S38)
Hold a degree in Civil engineering or equivalent
Capable at securing technical approvals from relevant authorities
Close to achieving ChartershipThe Role for Civil Engineer
You will be assisting with the project coordination, carrying out scheme developments and detailed designs
Liaising with clients, engineers, local authorities, and other professionals
Assisting with the mentoring of upcoming team members
Inputting at various design and site meetings and undertaking site investigations
Undertaking drainage designs such as SuDS, sewers for adoption and rainfall fun off managementSalary and Benefits
