Blueprint Recruitment has an exciting new opportunity for a motivated Civil Engineer to join a leading Infrastructure Contractor to work on major a Nuclear project. This long-term contract position, requires the successful candidate to operate full time, on the client's Cumbria site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure checks are carried out on a regular basis
- Comply with organisational and legal requirements
- Establish safe working cultures and practices
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and any other problems
- Create procurement schedules for jobs and liaise with the procurement department to ensure site have adequate resources to complete the tasks
- Set out detailed works as per the contract drawings
- Adhere with company procedures and legal obligations
- Produce ITP's and Task Briefings
- Spot Engineering opportunities
Key Requirements:
- Degree/HNC qualified, or equivalent, in Civil Engineering
- Cable avoidance training
- Experience setting out Civil Engineering projects
- Confined space training
- Good knowledge of legal regulations, health and safety and construction methods
- Self-motivated and organised
- BPSS security clearance with the ability to achieve a p4 pass
- Previous experience using AutoCAD and MS Office
- First aid training
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise effectively with both clients and staff
