My client is a successful multidisciplinary engineering consultancy who utilise advanced software to deliver innovative designs and solutions across many sectors including residential, leisure and defence. With over 40 years of offering expert services, you will have the chance to work on a mix of significant projects and become a key part of their structural engineering team. With a thriving outlook on future projects they are seeking a talented Senior Structural Engineer to join their team in Lancashire.
Requirements
Extensive relevant UK experience in a design office environment
Chartered with ICE or IStructE or very close to it
Proficient at designing will all common building materials (steel, concrete, timber, masonry)
Strong understanding of relevant software such as Tekla, TEDDS and Revit
Full UK drivers' licence
Comprehensive working knowledge of Eurocodes and British Building Regulations
Effective and clear communication abilities (written, verbal and interpersonal)The Role
You will be working within a team of engineers and technicians helping to mentor emergent team members, forming fee proposals and inputting to project bids. This role will entail undertaking structural engineering assessments, utilising advanced software to carry out analysis and designs. You will also be expected to attend design and project meetings collaborating with a variety of professionals to ensure high quality and accuracy of all project elements.
