Our client is an employee owned structural and civil engineering consultancy firm, that provides high-quality service for a wide range of projects across Scotland, the UK, and internationally. Looking for a skilled Civil Engineer with expertise in MicroDrainage to join their dynamic team.

Sectors - road, drainage, residential & active travel

Responsibilities:
  • Utilise MicroDrainage software to design and model effective drainage systems for various civil engineering projects
  • Carry out structural design work, inspections and reports when required
  • To monitor financial performance/profitability of projects. Discuss the Project Owner report with the Section Leader each month
  • Conduct drainage assessments and feasibility studies to determine the most appropriate solutions for site-specific conditions
  • Collaborate with project teams to integrate drainage designs seamlessly into overall project plans
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations related to drainage and storm water management


Qualifications:
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
  • IEng/CEng (or working towards)
  • Proven experience in utilizing MicroDrainage software for drainage design
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles, stormwater management, and drainage systems
  • Experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D would be beneficial
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
