Lead Civil Structural Engineer
Derby, Warrington or Manchester - Hybrid Working
£55,000 - £76,500 plus package

We are now recruiting for the exciting role of Lead Civil Structural Engineer, to be involved in delivering an industry leading, cutting-edge design project for a new type of power station.
The Lead Civil Structural Engineer is responsible for development of the fully integrated technical solutions and governance across their scope of work.
The role covers the technical leadership of a civil and structural teams, across all aspects of the Small Modular Reactor (SMR) Power Station with the core focus on the Nuclear Island.

Key Selection Criteria
• Technically lead and drive their specified elements of the design programme in line with the programme's policies and processes.
• Manage discipline teams to deliver the Reactor Island Civils, Structural and Architecture definition.
• Manage the delivery programme for their responsible scope of supply and assist in creating and managing suitable design milestone schedules.
• Deliver any generated engineering safety cases.
• Develop design and product cost estimates, manage the wider technical attributes for their scope and maintain input to appropriate opportunity and risk registers.
Pay and Benefits
We anticipate a paying a salary of between £55,000 - £76,500 and a performance related bonus of up to 12.5%, an attractive pension scheme with 12% employer and 6% employee contributions. You will also receive a flexible benefits allowance of £2,200, enabling you to create a bespoke package to suit your needs.
