We are seeking a highly motivated and knowledgeable Project Engineer to join our Clients team. The Project Engineer will play a crucial role in assisting our clients. The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of energy management, compliance requirements, and have a proven track record in delivering high-quality ESOS assessments.

Key Responsibilities

Subject to the contracted project scope and deemed process, the Project Engineer conducts energy audits, feasibility studies and carbon accounting projects on time and within budget.

This may include:
Project management and administration.

Client facing communications.

Analysing and interpreting energy, energy cost and carbon equivalent data.

Site visits to identify energy saving, renewable generation, carbon accounting and/or energy management opportunities.

Compiling, modelling and quantifying all relevant data to produce the scoped deliverables.

Where necessary, communicate with relevant installers for recommended technologies.

Writing the relevant findings into informative and implementable reports.

Maintaining and delivering the required weekly and monthly activity and performance reports.

Maintaining accurate records, including recording time against projects, and following set procedures and processes in line with the Quality Management System.

Subject to ability and availability, support and the Projects department to deliver ad-hoc projects, long-term projects, tenders, research and compliance projects e.g., the Energy Savings Opportunity Scheme (ESOS).

Subject to skills and development, deliver energy consultancy services that relate to for example, renewable energy, energy efficiency, system improvement, energy using technologies, energy sources, energy pricing and tariffs etc.

Subject to demand, understand and communicate client compliance to energy schemes such as the ESOS and Renewable Heat Incentive etc.

Pro-actively investigate and communicate new and improved energy technologies, systems as well as private and public schemes.

Pro-actively develop relationships with clients, suppliers and service providers.

Subject to ability and availability, support the Sales and Marketing department for example with written technical communications and attendance at events.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Energy Management, or related field.

Certification or accreditation in ESOS or similar energy management schemes preferred.

2+ years of experience in conducting energy assessments, energy audits, or related roles.

Proficient in energy data analysis tools and software.

Strong understanding of energy efficiency technologies and practices.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
