Requirements for Civil Engineer

Relevant UK experience within a Civil Engineering consultancy
Hold a HNC or degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
Working knowledge of roads and drainage design especially within industrial and residential sectors
Strong understanding of Highways Act & Water Industry Act and designing public and private roads
Proficiency with software such as Civil 3D, Microdrainage and AutoCAD
Self-motivated to continue professional development
Excellent communication skills
On track towards ChartershipThe Role for a Civil Engineer

Provide technical advice for all elements of civil engineering
Working on drainage aspects of projects including SuDS, flood risk assessments and external levels
Liaising with clients and other professionals to ensure project delivery
Mentoring and supporting the development of emergent team members
Collaborating in team of engineers and apprentices
Securing approvals from relevant authorities and designing up to sectional agreementsSalary and Benefits
