We are currently working with a multidisciplinary consultancy with offices across the UK. They provide engineering, design, and surveying expertise to the construction industry and are looking to add a talented Structural Engineer to their operations in Hemel Hempstead. In this role, you will work across a variety of projects, both large and small, across most sectors including commercial, R&D, energy and residential and continue delivering exciting and interesting projects across the industry.
The role will involve working closely with other members of the team and reporting to the Project Director. You will also assist and carry out structural designs in steel, concrete, masonry and timber. Working with the Project Director, you will be responsible for the technical aspects of the projects and developing skills with a view to assessing the sustainability and environmental impact of projects.
This position will allow you to develop skills with a view to liaising with clients, project teams and Local Authorities with a view to making sure the project complies with statutory requirements, especially health and safety.
They are looking for master's qualified candidate that has previously carried out structural design on buildings and has design experience in all common building materials. This is an ideal role for someone with 2-3 years of industry experience.
