Civil Design Engineer

Our client is looking for a Graduate Design Engineer with experience in the industry to join their team in Exeter. They are a Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy, providing a professional service to Domestic, Commercial and Public Sector Clients throughout the country.

Requirements of the role:

·BSc/BEng/MSc/MEng in civil/structural engineering
·Civil and structural design work including calculations and drawings
·To prepare quotations for prospective projects which will generally be approved by Senior Engineers.
·You are expected to be familiar with British Standards, Codes of Practice and Euro Codes and keep up to date with revisions
·Excellent communication with clients, architects and contractors
·Keep timesheets up to date and accurate
·Able to use AutoCAD
·To visit site when required to gather information for design, such as loadings and the condition of the structure
·A desire to learn and develop and undertake continuing professional development
