Job Title: Environmental Modelling and Simulation Engineer
Location: Stevenage
Pay Range/details: Up to circa £50,000
Contract Type: Permanent
Our defence client is currently recruiting for a Systems Engineer with experience in modelling and simulation, who is wanting to make their next career move.

You'll be employed in Stevenage, with the opportunity to work on a hybrid basis with flexible hours.
Due to the sensitive nature of the work within this role, you must be a British National and be able to obtain SC or DV clearance.
This role will require 3-4 days per week on site on average.
Key Responsibilities - Environmental Modelling and Simulation Engineer
Developing RF Synthetic Scene Generation Toolset
Support a range of scene generation activities, from synthetic scene creation, through to validation via experimentation and field trials.
working with our Customers and Suppliers towards developing and integrating the next generation RF missile seekers
Provides teams with representative real-world data they need to undertake the product design, development, and acceptance process.
Qualifications & Requirements - Environmental Modelling and Simulation Engineer
Experience in Modelling and coding - ideally MATLAB Simulink
Experience in Data analysis and technical report writing
Good communication skills
Proficiency in MATLAB and development of models in Simulink
Formal software or firmware development experience
Knowledge of RF systems and digital signal processing desirable
Model verification, configuration control and model release processes
Continuous Integration and Testing
Experience with Machine Learning and AI desirable
Experience with CAD manipulation or material classification desirable
