Structural Engineer

I am actively seeking a talented Structural Engineer to join a growing, specialist structural engineering consultancy in Hampshire. This dynamic consultancy consistently gains repeat business from their clients for providing high quality, innovative and creative structural engineering designs and have cultivated close partnerships with a range of other companies such as architects and developers. Requirements for a Structural Engineer

Hold a degree in Structural Engineering or equivalent
Relevant UK experience within a Structural Engineering consultancy
Working knowledge of designing in the residential sector
Strong knowledge of using structural analysis and design software including Masterseries, Tedds and AuotCAD
Good understanding of all of the common building materials (steel, timber, masonry and concrete)
Be a member of the Institute for Structural Engineers
Full UK driving licenceThe Role for a Structural Engineer

Producing structural designs within the residential and commercial sectors
Working under limited supervision and semi autonomous
Carry out site visits and inspections
Work closely with the client, ensuring projects meet their needs
Undertake design and access statements and structural surveys and calculationsSalary and Benefits
