A National Civil Engineering and highways contractor are recruiting a Project Manager to oversee a live development infrastructure project valued at circa £12m. The project is located in the Hedge End are of Hampshire and involves earthworks, deep and shallow drainage, and the construction of several roads with associated civil engineering works.

The primary focus of the Project Manager role will be client focussed, managing expectations, chairing meetings and building relationships throughout the southern region. You will have a good commercial acumen, experience of working with NEC contracts and solid background in civil engineering whether that's through an engineering role or from a hands-on background.

Key duties include:

Management of the commercial team with site change control and ensuring all cost, value and change control is captured in line with the contract.
Work with Senior Planner to create detailed and achievable programmes.
Manage documentation for quality assurance and Health and Safety files
Chair monthly progress meetings with clients and stakeholders
Act as representative for the business at all times.
Ensure timely and profitable delivery of projects in your remit
Manage a team of Site Agents, Sub Agents, Foremen and Engineers
