Are you a Mechanical Design Engineer from a Construction / Building Services background who is proficient in AutoCAD or Revit looking for an autonomous and varied role where you will produce bespoke designs within a leading consultancy who work on cutting edge projects and provide a range of ongoing opportunities for development?
This company are a well-established Building Services Consultancy who provide services for a range of clients across the commercial and residential sectors. They have seen continual growth since their establishment to the point they now have 24 staff and due to an ever increasing workload are looking to further grow their Design team.
In this varied consultancy role, you will liaise closely with the M&E Lead and senior team members as you work within the design team to assist them in production of components from schematic drawings. You will attend client meetings to ensure all products are meeting their requirements, in addition to writing reports and preparing budgets.
This role would suit a Mechanical Design Engineer looking for a varied consultancy role where you can further your specialist skillset within a company known for looking after their staff who offer a bonus to increase your earnings and a range of progression opportunities.
The Role:
Work within tight-knit Design Team
Liaise with senior members of the team and M&E lead
Attend client meetings and liaise on progress
Working with design team on product specification
Project work
Inspections and reports
Provide detailed reports, risk assessments and technical advice to customers and recommend works to contractorsThe Person:
Mechanical Design Engineer or similar
Construction / Building Services background
Proficient in AutoCAD
