Advance TRS have teamed up with a well-established consultancy in the heart of Glasgow in the search for an experienced Structural Engineer with a background in Rail. The successful candidate will lead and carry out a variety of UK wide infrastructure projects, which include rail station footbridges, and road bridges. Ideally my client is looking for someone who can take responsibility for their own work and apply their knowledge to support their team. This role offers an excellent career progression with a well-structured training programme put in place.

Background

• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer who is professionally qualified for the role, via the ICE or IStructE.
• Experience working on complex and large-scale projects related to rail
• Experience of Network Rails assurance process and been endorsed as CRE for Network Rail Projects

Responsibilities

• Analysis and design using Midas or LUSAS software packages.
• Client relationship management
• Liaising with other design teams
• Put together documentation and calculations for engineering projects

Location: Glasgow

Salary: £45,000 - £53,000
