My client in Oakham is looking for a Graduate Structural Technician due to expansion.

To be considered for this Graduate Structural Engineer role you will:

* Hold a minimum qualification: BEng/BSc Civil/Structural Engineering

* Possess a minimum of 2-3 years' experience within a UK based engineering consultancy

* Have experience working with steel, concrete, timber and masonry

* Have aspirational desire for self-improvement and the ambition to become a valuable member of the team to ensure the future growth and success of the business

* Think creatively and logically to resolve design challenges

* Have a clean driving licence and use of car

* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key responsibilities of this Graduate Structural Engineer role include but not limited to:

* Play a part in the delivery of a wide range of building projects from inception to completion

* Attend site projects and design team meetings as required

* Lead small projects independently on a range of contracts

* Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, contractors and manufacturers

* Have a knowledge of using engineering design software is desirable

* Prepare your own designs, design calculations, drawings and project documents under the guidance of an Engineer

* Assist with bid proposals
