The client is an advanced technological and engineering platform for the design, construction and operation of safe and sustainable complex infrastructure and plants.
The client is currently looking for two graduate structural engineers to join the team in the London Office to support and ongoing offshore projects. Candidates must have a minimum of 2:1 qualificiation is Civil or Structural Engineering.
The Graduate role requires strong analytical skills, able to perform structural analysis and design tasks together with preparation of analysis documents and high quality structural design sketches used for the production of formal design drawings.
Training and development will be provided to build a range of technical and professional skills within the department, which are necessary to work in our multi-disciplinary project based organisation covering a range of work locations. Whilst the role will predominantly be London based, we require flexibility to undertake work in other offices and offshore sites at appropriate times.
The client encourages and supports all engineers in their professional development to achieve Chartered Engineer status.
Objectives and Responsibilities of this Role
Candidates should have:
- A strong analytical/design capability
- Ability to maintain awareness of Clients current requirements and where applicable, the latest Industry Codes and Standards including statutory rules and regulations.
- Good interpersonal skills
- Interest in performing advanced analysis work
- A willingness to work in offshore environment during construction activities
