Senior Civil/Highways Engineer
Location: Fleet
Salary: £42,000 - £50,000 (Depending on Experience)
A reputable transportation and highways consultancy with a team of 22 professionals across two offices is seeking a Senior Civil/Highways Engineer to join their transport planning team in Fleet.
The company boasts an equal distribution of transport planners, engineers, and Directors across its offices. Offering a wide range of services to clients, they specialize in transport planning, S278/S38 highway scheme designs, drainage design, and environmental planning solutions. Their project portfolio spans across private and public sectors, including commercial, residential, local authorities, leisure facilities, hospitals, and schools.

Duties of Senior Highway Engineer:
Ensure timely delivery of highway and drainage designs within allocated budgets.
Incorporate requirements of relevant Authorities and Statutory bodies into designs.
Review and authorize design information and reports, providing constructive feedback.
Ensure compliance with MCHW, DMRB, and local design guidance.
Essential Requirements for Senior Highway Engineer:
Experience in Section 278 and Section 38 highway design projects.
Strong technical skills in various highway design environments.
Proven track record of project management, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Experience in developing, mentoring, and supervising Highway Design staff.
Proficiency in DMRB technical documents and highway drainage design, including the use of MicroDrainage software.
Working knowledge of Civils 3D CAD package.Membership in a relevant Chartered Institute.
Valid UK driving license
