Here at Blueprint recruitment, we have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Design Engineer to join a respected, Civil and Structural Engineering Practice on a permanent basis.

Our client provides the flexibility for the successful candidate to work on a hybrid basis, attending the Guildford office 3 days per week.

The leading Practice specialise in a range of sectors, including, Retail, Residential, Education and Commercial.

Key Responsibilities:

Undertake research and data collection
Present results to clients
Able to use technical skills and knowledge on a wide range of building structures
Comply with Quality and Technical Assurance Procedures
Awareness of and work in compliance with BIM standards, Digital Plan of Work and the project BIM Execution plan
Assist with the development of junior staffKey Requirements:

Working towards or achieved Chartership status
Proven experience in the design of structures using the conventional engineering materials
A degree in Structural Engineering
Experience in the use of structural analysis design software (Robot Structural Analysis and Revit experience is desirable but not essential)
Willingness and flexibility to learn new software
Strong communication and presentation skills
Able to make decisions, act on your own initiative and operate in a pro-active wayBenefits:
