About The Client: A dynamic and innovative engineering firm committed to delivering excellence in Geo-Environmental solutions. As we continue to grow, we are seeking a motivated and dedicated Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer to join our team.

Role Overview: As a Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer, you will play a key role in coordinating and executing soil and mineral site investigations, preparing comprehensive reports, and contributing to the design and implementation of ground engineering projects. Your work will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams and ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Arrange and coordinate soil and mineral site investigations.
  • Prepare Stage I desk-top reports and assist in the preparation of Stage II interpretive reports, providing recommendations for foundations, contamination remediation, and soil gas protection.
  • Prepare reports and desk-top studies for mining stability.
  • Inspect and approve remediation works on-site during construction.
  • Assist in the preparation of Voluntary Action Remediation Statements (VARS) for planning submissions to local authorities.
  • Contribute to the preparation of specifications and designs for ground engineering, environmental remediation, and mining consolidation works.
  • Validate and assist in the preparation of final reports for ground engineering, environmental remediation, and mining consolidation projects.
  • Specify and coordinate Waste Acceptance Criteria (WAC) testing, and classify soils for removal from site.
  • Assist in or prepare and/or check design calculations and specifications for geotechnical works, ensuring overall performance requirements are met.
  • Review subcontractors' method statements for compliance with project drawings and specifications.

  • Bachelor's degree in Geology or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to a collaborative work environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to adhere to project timelines.
