Graduate Engineering Geologist

Location: Stockton-On-Tees
Are you a recent geology, environmental science or physical geography graduate with an interest in ground investigation and contaminated land positions? A geotechnical and geo-environmental consultancy based in Stockton-On-Tees is seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic graduate to join their team on a huge variety of projects. With over 20 people in the team and a huge range of site investigation procedures provided, this company offers an excellent first position for a graduate to develop career defining skills.
The graduate Geotechnical Engineer selected will have a range of responsibilities. These include carrying out ground investigations, assisting with site walkovers, writing factual and interpretive reports, carrying out soil and rock borehole logging, carrying out phase 1 desk studies and observing day to day tasks in contribution to training.

Have a minimum of a BSc in geology, environmental science, geography, environmental management, or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).

Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills.
