Work Description:

The purpose of this role is:

• To provide professional Structural Engineering services (development of ship compartment arrangements) consistent with the qualities of a professional engineer, in support of executing the work assigned by Company line management.

The responsibilities and tasks of this role are to perform technical work in, but not limited to, the following areas:

• Development of ship compartment 2D arrangements, integration of third-party suppler equipment and development of key plans including, but not limited to:

Accommodation, offices, workshops, storerooms, dining facilities, laundries, medical complexes, mooring decks, lifesaving equipment, topside arrangements, etc.

• Undertake Quality Assessment reviews of third-party work (arrangement drawings and key plans).
• NAPA & Rhino experiece desirable.
• Produce written reports in MS WORD and PowerPoint.
• Represent Company at client meeting discussing and agreeing technical issues.
• Provide guidance, leadership, advice and direction to less experienced staff who are engaged in technical work as required and act as an example for best practice and behaviour.
