Here at Blueprint Recruitment, we are looking for a Principal Structural Engineer to join an Engineering and Data Analytics Consultancy, on a permanent staff basis in Gloucester.

As the selected candidate, you will be responsible for providing technical expertise and ensuring that Structural designs meet quality and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion
Ensure the provision of efficient, high-quality Structural Engineering design
Attend design team meetings and lead them if required
Develop scopes of work and delivery programmes
Offer support and guidance to more junior members
Build client relationships and help identify business opportunities
Review Structural Engineering analysis and design to Eurocodes and British Standards
Carry out structural surveysKey Requirements:

A Chartered Engineer status or working towards
A degree in Engineering or similar field
Experience in the design of building structures to British Standards and Eurocodes
Proven experience in developing projects from concept to construction
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Prior experience in actively managing clients
Ability to manage and work to budget and program
Experience in successfully leading the Structural Engineering delivery of projects
The ability to make decisions and act on your own initiative
Able to inspect works carried out on-siteBenefits:
