Essential Duties & Responsibilities.

  • Assists Client Managers in the procurement of new work with innovative and creative solutions 
  • Has ability to create strong personal relationship with the Client and teammates
  • Establishes a clear Client communication protocol for the project (method and frequency). 
  • Ensures Client expectations and critical success factors are consistent with PM’s understanding (project scope/fee/schedule/deliverables).
  • Managing projects with the ability to perform feasibility studies, drainage impact analysis, conveyance analysis, and flood control projects. 
  • Independent thinker with critical thinking skills.
  • Working Knowledge of HECRAS, HECHMS, EPA SWIM, XP & PC SWIM, KYPIPE, and ARCGIS software.
  • Ability to produce and oversee modeling (ID, 2D, 1D-2D Couple Modeling)
  • Passion and experience for managing/mentoring graduate engineers, professional engineers, and sub-consultants.
  • Knowledge of the whole project cycle, from conception to completion of the project.
  • Willing to learn new drainage criteria and interact with local review agencies.
  • Ensures design solutions are consistent with the Client's goals. 
  • Provides project oversight. 
  • Obtains feedback on Client satisfaction. 
  • Approves the project team to ensure the team is qualified to successfully execute the project. 



Qualification Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or closely related field
  • Must have P.E. license in the State of Texas 
  • Natural leader willing to champion a team of engineers and technicians
  • Talent in project management, including familiarity with design software
  • 6+ years of experience in Drainage/H&H Engineering with an innovative approach to complex problem-solving
