My client are a rapidly growing Engineering Consultancy specialising in Civil & Structural Engineering, Transport Planning & Highway design. Due to another period of sustained growth, their Wakefield office is looking to employ an Associate level Civil Engineer to help lead and deliver a number of large scale projects.
This position would suit either an existing Associate looking for a more autonomous environment or a driven and motivated Principal Engineer looking to step up into a difference making role. This truly is a unique position and a key hire for a business that is going from strength to strength and the role offers the opportunity of an equity share to the right individual.
Initially, your work will be centred around delivering highways and drainage design for the schemes which they are currently working on. It is all development infrastructure led work, working in accordance with Section 382, 104s & 278s, so you need to be experienced with this kind of work using the appropriate software such as MicroDrainage, WinDes and Civil 3D.
Working closely with their Regional Lead, you will be hands on within their Civils team and help produce designs and drawings to civils and highway schemes to appropriate standards from concept through to completion. You will maintain awareness of commercial and technical management of projects to assist in ensuring that they are managed effectively within budgetary constraints as well as checking, reviewing, and managing the submission of technical / design packages and the work carried out by graduates.
A full UK's driver's license is required for this role
