- Cost Estimation:Prepare accurate cost estimates for groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Budget Management:Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and ensure cost control.
- Contract Administration:Administer contracts, including variations and claims.
- Measurement and Valuation:Measure quantities, assess work completed, and value variations.
- Subcontractor Management:Manage subcontractor agreements, payments, and performance.
- Risk Assessment:Identify and mitigate project risks related to costs and contracts.
- Reporting:Provide regular reports on project financials and progress.
Requirements:
- Experience:Minimum of 5 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in groundworks and civil engineering projects.
- Qualifications:Relevant degree or professional qualification in Quantity Surveying.
- Technical Skills:Proficient in cost estimation, contract administration, and measurement.
- Communication:Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
