Water Quality Assurance Engineer
Are you a dedicated Water Quality Assurance Engineer with a commitment to maintaining the integrity and safety of water networks? We are excited to offer you a pivotal role within our Field Team. As a Water Quality Assurance Engineer, you will be instrumental in the testing, chlorination, and sampling processes, enabling the successful commissioning of new Water Networks across England.
Qualifications and Experience Required:
* Certification in Water Hygiene
* Proficiency in water mains chlorination, testing, and sampling
* Possession of a Water Safety Passport
* Full UK driving licence
Key Responsibilities:
* Implement, examine, chlorinate, and commission water infrastructure in accordance with Client Water Codes of Practice.
* Uphold high standards of safety and technical quality, adhering to method statements, work procedures, and safety guidelines.
* Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of Testing, chlorinating, and Sampling procedures.
* Maintain vehicles, plant, and equipment in optimal condition, reporting any defects to the Project Manager.
* Identify contract variations promptly and report to the Project Manager, adhering to company procedures.
* Carry out daily site-specific risk assessments, ensuring a safe working environment.
* Participate in "toolbox talks" and other mandatory training courses.
* Document precise details of work performed.
* Submit relevant work details for record-keeping and invoicing within the stipulated timeframe.
* Perform any other duties as assigned by the Project Manager within the individual's general experience scope.
