Geo-Environmental Engineer - Coaching and Mentoring for Chartership
Location: Manchester
Our client is looking for recent graduates with up to 3 years of experience in geo-environmental engineering. Here's an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly expanding ground investigation department within an esteemed multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy.
Our client is at the forefront of ground breaking projects, including the UK's first Carbon Capture Plant, diverse commercial developments, vital infrastructure initiatives, and high-end bespoke residential ventures. Their unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation has driven the growth of their Geo department, and they are now on the lookout for a motivated and dedicated individual to become a part of their team.
Key Requirements: Experience: You should possess a minimum of 0.5 years of hands-on experience in geo-environmental work, showcasing your proficiency in environmental processes and practices. We regret to inform that fresh graduates without relevant experience will not be considered for this role.
Versatility: This role demands a versatile skill set encompassing both field and office work. You should feel at ease working on-site and in an office environment, as the projects require adaptability.
Key Responsibilities:
Undertake comprehensive site investigations, encompassing phase 1 and phase 2 assessments.
Exhibit proficiency in composing factual and interpretive reports, delivering valuable insights and recommendations.
Demonstrate expertise in logging rock and soil data, contributing to a thorough comprehension of geological conditions.
Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of ten professionals based in the geo departments in Manchester and Bristol.
