Geo-environmental Engineer - Market Leading Consultancy
Join our client, a dynamic consultancy comprising 85 professionals across five UK offices. Specialising in Commercial and Residential projects, They boast a prestigious clientele including Jaguar Land Rover, Mercedes Benz, and Wembley football stadium.
Based in their Midlands office, you'll become part of the expanding Geo-Environmental team, where you'll have the chance to make significant strides in your career. Their modern, open-plan offices are conveniently located just a short walk from various public transportation options, including buses, trains, cycling, and e-bike routes.
In this role, you'll tackle a diverse array of stimulating projects, from due diligence and ground investigation to construction and completion, spanning various sectors. With guidance from experienced colleagues, you'll contribute to the creation of ground investigation reports, remediation strategies, earthworks specifications, and validation reports.
Their robust appraisal system and training initiatives are designed to support your career advancement, equipping you with the skills needed for the role. They encourage and assist you in obtaining professional qualifications, providing mentorship and support as you work towards chartered status.
Key Requirements:
Ideally, hold a 2:1 or higher degree in geology or earth sciences, or be in your final year of study.
1 to 2 years of experience in ground investigation, environmental monitoring, or relevant field is advantageous.
Strong communication skills.
Eagerness to learn and advance your career.
Interest in contaminated land or ground engineering.
Ability to solve problems collaboratively with team members.
Strong record-keeping, analytical, and writing skills are beneficial.
