I am actively seeking a skilled Senior Structural Engineer to join a busy, successful highly Multidisciplinary Consultancy based in Middlesbrough. As a Senior Structural Engineer, you will assist in managing one of their busiest structural teams where you will have the opportunity to plan and check various structural engineering projects, such as industrial, residential, education, commercial, and leisure venues.
The successful applicant will ideally be someone who has significant experience in structural design (Structural steel, reinforced concrete, masonry and timber), as well as having exceptional communication skills (verbal and written). Preferably the candidate will either be studying towards a membership in the following:

- Institution of Civil Engineers
- Institution of Structural Engineers
- Or similar learned professional/society body
It is essential for the candidate to have a professional and commercial viewpoint through having the following:
- Quantitative and qualitative experience in building structure
- Knowledge of technical software with S-Frame, CADS, SCIA, TEDDS and Tekla Structural Designer
- Following appropriate UK design standards
- Understanding of the Site Investigation process.
Duties and responsibilities for this Senior Structural Engineer include:
- Inspecting and planning structural engineering reports, designs and drawings, specifications, specifications, and general correspondence.
- Communicate and interact with external clients and professionals
- Oversee Graduate Engineers and Technicians on the production of drawings.
- Preparing structural reports on a variety of structures and buildings.
