A fantastic opportunity near Glastonbury has presented itself for a recent graduate to join a Ground Investigation Consultancy on a variety of projects around the South West. If you've completed a degree in geology, civil engineering, geoscience, environmental science or engineering geology, this could be the role for you! The Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer selected will be offered:

The Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer selected will be working largely on site, assisting with site walkovers, carrying out site/ground investigations, soil and rock logging, trial pitting, preparing phase plans and carrying out phase 1 Desk Studies. You'll be trained up to write factual reports, work on in situ testing and encouraged to observe day-to-day tasks to develop geo-environmental and geotechnical knowledge.

To be considered for the Graduate Geo-Environmental Engineer role you must have:
  • A minimum of a BSc in geology, environmental science, engineering geology, geotechnical engineering, civil engineering or a relevant subject (MSc preferable).
  • Be keen to learn and develop geo-environmental/geotechnical skills.
  • An ability show enthusiasm for working outdoors in a hands on role.
  • A full UK driving licence.
  • Live commutable to Glastonbury.
  • Have a full right to work in the UK.
