Are you an experienced Structural Engineer? Are you ready to represent Europe's leading engineering and architecture consultancy?
Our client has an award-winning portfolio of UK and international projects, and are well known for their close working relationships with like-minded clients and design professionals. They are currently looking for a talented and motivated Structural Engineer to join their successful Structures team in Ipswich.
As a Structural Engineer, you will carry out the design of structural engineering schemes, including the preparation of structural design calculations, specifications, drawings and technical information. You'll undertake site surveys, write reports, prepare and check designs, drawings and calculations, whilst liaising with clients, professional advisors, in house teams and the general public.
To be considered for this role you'll need the following:
A degree in Structural or Civil Engineering, along with experience in a similar role.
Knowledge and understanding of UK Codes of Practice, Design Standards, Building Regulations and Health & Safety.
Good communication skills, both written and verbal with the ability to liaise with people at various levels.
