Are you a Chartered Senior Structural Engineer ready to join an award-winning Building Structures team?
Our client helps lead the industry in designs that make a difference and shape the world to benefit future generations. They work across many different sectors including Aviation, Defence, Energy, Cities and Development, Education, Rail and Water. This opportunity is for a Chartered Civil / Structural Engineer to join their Epsom team and be a key member of an award-winning team.
They are looking for someone who is a Chartered Engineer (MIStructE or MICE) with experience in successfully leading small projects including the management of small focused project teams. You will also have experience in the design of common structural materials as well as a good understating of current design standards and working practices. You will need to showcase your experience on developing projects from concept to construction stage, and your excellent communication and presentation skills. You will need to be confident in making decisions, acting on your own initiative and operating in a pro-active way.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include delivering multiple projects or parts of larger projects to completion, within budget and to program. You will need to ensure the provision of efficient high quality structural engineering design, and be the first point of contact for clients, contractors, design team and third parties. They would ask you to offer support and guidance to more junior members of the team. You would be tasked with managing your own time which may be essential if allocated to more than one project.
