Job Description:
Our client, an engineering consultancy in Colchester, is seeking a Graduate Structural Engineer to join their team. As a key member of the engineering department, you will be responsible for developing and communicating innovative design ideas, preparing progress reports for seniors and clients, and submitting calculations and drawings for building control approval.
Job Duties:
Develop and communicate innovative and effective design ideas
Prepare progress reports for seniors and clients
Prepare and submit calculations and drawings for building control approval
Required Qualifications:
A passion for building structures
1 to 4 years of structural experience
Education:
Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
Experience:
1 to 4 years of structural engineering experience
Knowledge and Skills:
Ability to use AutoCAD or REVIT (preferable but not essential)
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
Working Conditions:
